It really almost impossible to go thru a full dungeon on pitch black but I would like to be able to lower the torch with 3 or 4 rooms left while keeping a few torches handy if things go south. JIn the Darkest Dungeon, Curios are objects found in various rooms and corridors that can be interacted with to activate certain events. All this while your enemy is doing more damage probably critting more and your guys are going, "Oh no I'm going to hurt myself and pass my turn" Guide Tank War Room Darkest Dungeon: The Crimson Court - New Curios Here’s each of the new Curios in Darkest Dungeon’s new DLC, The Crimson Court. Districts introduce a new layer to the depth of late-game planning for the player, as the available buildings are generally immensely expensive, but do offer substantial buffs if a player was so inclined to rebuild them. If you do more than 3 battles with no light your stress will quickly max out and make you lose control. Districts are a special kind of town building available only in The Crimson Court and The Color of Madness DLCs. In some ways it does though as even with a really strong party attempting to run an entire dungeon on pitch black still means death. I agree and would prefer that the darkness basically means death. I get it from that perspective, but isn't it completely the opposite of what you would expect to be happening realistically? Being able to find more loot when it's black as pitch makes absolutely no sense other than as an abstract game design decision.
